Sydney Olympic Park Site 3 is the first major residential development of approximately 680 apartments proposed for
the urban regeneration of the Olympic Park town centre. This project is the result of a competition-winning proposal
for Multiplex Living and Babcock & Brown. The design development of the scheme is a synergy between Turner + Associates and Fender Katsalidis Architects from Melbourne. The development also allows for retail, live/work units and
community facilities, including a child care centre.

The site is divided into three buildings supporting four towers of highly articulated and sculpted forms. The towers vary
in height from 18 to 30 storeys. Each tower has developed its own character within a familial series of forms and each
is split into two smaller tower plans, each with their own core allowing a much more varied height configuration across
the site.
Environmental design principles are key to the project. These include cross ventilated apartments, external shading
devices, cogeneration, on-site water re-use and grey water recycling.
