Summary The Exchange Hotel at 69-73 Pitt Street was constructed in 1882 by M. Cooper Day. It replaced an earlier hotel. A major extension was carried out in 1928. In the 1970’s it ceased to be used as a hotel for a while.
Stood opposite the Sydney Exchange, Bridge St. (more pictures here).
Currently called the Republic Hotel.
